Questions And Answers
1. What would cause my crawl space area to be in need of repair?
There are a variety of problems that can cause issues within your crawl space area.
- Poor construction
- Wide unsupported floor spans
- Incorrect spacing of existing supports
- Excess moisture
- Load bearing or settling issues
2. What type of supports does your company use?
Heavy-duty floor supports are custom made at our facility from premium quality steel. The supports are cut precisely then top and bottom plates are welded to specification. A top coat is applied to each support in order to prevent corrosion. Adjustable steel pins are then assembled and installed.
3. What should I expect during the installation process?
Our office will schedule a day to begin the installation. When the crew arrives they will begin by marking the areas of repair. A footing will be dug and poured with concrete to support the steel jack installation. Our crew will then take final measurements for the jack production. After the custom supports are produced and concrete has had a chance to cure we will return for the final installation. As the supports are put into place a team member will direct from above at the area of repair. We will then raise as practical until supported effectively.
